H.O.M.E Grants are meant to provide targeted relief for the organizations and individuals working hard to create new life for their loved equines in need. With the end goal being that none of these horses go back to being at risk.

Any horse/s receiving the support through grant funds will need to be branded with the Hooves of Glory symbol, microchipped, DNA tested and properly evaluated prior to re-homing. Full updates, from Bail-rehab will be requested and documented. A final update after 90 successful days in long term placement.

Grants for verified rescue organizations

Initial relief Grants are to either partially or fully assist in the first stages of a rescue. Bail, Transport and Quarantine, emergency and initial veterinary care. As you are well aware, every horse is a different case and some cases are difficult to over come, while some are much more according to plan.

Initial relief Grants require the organization to submit to the horse being properly documented, branded and microchipped in order to reduce the risk.

For horses that are obviously in need of immediate end of life support, this is to help take some of the burden off of the rescue so they may also assist horses with a better chance of a purposeful life.

Grants for private individuals

Initial relief Grants for individuals are to partially assist in the first stages of a rescue. Bail, Transport and Quarantine. In order to receive Grant funds, the process of the rescue must be documented, proof microchipping at first initial vet visit, and any known information submission to Hooves of Glory for the horse/s rescued.

Rehab relief Grants are available to assist in the evaluation and retraining process in order to ensure the horse/s go into properly matched homes, even if it means the horse may need to go to a sanctuary, or recieve end of life support.

While in order to receive full support the horse must undergo the identification process required, rescues may request partial support with the recommendation that they participate in the process.

Vision

The vision is to provide security and rehabilitation for horses in transition that were once bound for slaughter as well as horses who are at risk.

Through targeted behavioral training  using natural methods these horses can move on to new homes as companions and have potential careers.

By offering financial aid to active rescues, and emergency relief or end of life relief to horses owned privately and by other no profit organizations.

With identification branding, microchipping and proper transfer of information on each horse. The horses we rescue should never again have to face the horrors of the slaughter pipeline.
